If you have income contingent loans and will be overseas for more than three months, completing an Overseas Income Assessment Form will enable us to assess your level of repayment.
The Overseas Income Assessment Form will allow you to provide details of your circumstances and prospective income to the Student Loans Company.
You will be required to provide evidence of your income or means of support.
We will then provide you with a monthly repayment schedule. Your monthly payments will be based upon the earnings threshold for your destination country – see Overseas Thresholds for more information.
If you have not yet completed an Overseas Income Assessment Form you can download a form by clicking the link below.
Please note: This form should only be completed and returned to the Student Loans Company once your account enters repayment. Repayments start on the April following your graduation date or the date you leave your Course.

Income Contingent Repayments
You may already be making repayments towards an Income Contingent Loan while you are overseas, having set up and agreed a repayment schedule with the Student Loans Company. Scheduled repayments are set for 12 months duration and you will be re-assessed annually. However, you can contact the Student Loans Company and apply for reassessment during this period if your income level drops.
If you are overseas and moving between countries with different threshold bands and you would like to be reassessed, you should call the Student Loans Company on +44 141 243 3660. Please note, you would have to move to a country with a higher threshold band before you could apply for a reassessment. However, you can also apply for a reassessment if your income falls.
